Salt and Sugar, that’s the difference between Winky and Jah Prayzah says Prophet Madungwe

Prophet Talent Madungwe has said comparing Winky D and Jah Prayzah is similar to comparing sugar and salt as the two musicians are both good in their respective musical genres.

Madungwe who also worked with Jah Prayzah on visuals of his song Murder said the two were both great artists and it would be unfair to claim that one of the two was better than the other.

“You cannot compare sugar and salt. Jah Prayzah is sugar, Winky D is salt and we need both of them. The two were given different gifts by God,” he said.

Madungwe who became popular after claiming that he met God and had braai with him added there was no one better than the other between the two artistes.

“They are both good artistes. Winky D has Disappear and Jah Prayzah has Donhodzo. Each of the two is running his own race. Beef and pork are two different types of meat, even tasting them you will realise the difference,” he said.

He argued it was better to compare artists of the same genre than comparing the two.

“What you must taste is beef and beef or pork and pork for you to know how this one has been cooked. It is a fact that Jah and Winky are both stars,” said Madungwe.

The prophet’s remarks come less than a week before Winky D launches his album at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC).

Just like the topic of who is better between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, the Jah Prayzah-Winky D debate has taken centre stage in street discussions and at venues where the two will be sharing the stage or have launched a new musical project.
