The 2018 Radio Zimbabwe Coca Cola Top 50 second champion, Admire Nago, is set to release a five-track album titled Praise the Lord (Nezvese Zviri Mandiri) on 25 February, 2023 at Kandodo Hall in Zvishavane.

Speaking to Zimbabwe Now, Nago said it is an album of thanksgiving and it is his third album.

“It is just to thank God with life all difficult moments we faced in our lives and sometimes we thought it was the end but with God we overcame,” he said.

He said the songs are of praising the Lord not in fast ways, but in terms of lyrics.

“I hope people will receive it with warm hearts and be helped to praise the Lord through the songs. It’s not all about asking God for things only but sometimes we have to give him the praise looking at the small and big gifts that he gave us,” said Nago.

Other songs are Konkela, He is Not a Man, Simba Renyu and Torai Moyo.

Nago said it took him two years to work on the album and is hoping that citizens will welcome it.

Other musicians to perform on the launch are Paddy Music, Worshipper Masimbiti, Attalia Parehwa, Prince Gumbo, Mai Patai, Blessed Mabika, Benny Muzanamombe and guest artist Dorcas Moyo.

The musician, who is also a presenter with Zvishavane-based radio station YAFM, released his first album Nhovo in 2018 and released singles in 2019.

In 2020, he released his second album titled Munana Wangu.

He won an award for coming second with the song Wandigadza during the 2018 Radio Zimbabwe Coca Cola Top 50 chart show. The same year, he won the Best Gospel Artiste and Best Video awards with the album Nhovo at the Midlands Music Awards.
