Fans Back ZIFA’s Tough Criteria for Warriors Coach

The Zimbabwe National Soccer Supporters Association has welcomed the Zimbabwe Football Association’s (ZIFA) decision to introduce strict requirements for the next Warriors coach, describing the move as a necessary step toward restoring the national team’s lost glory.

In a statement signed by ZNSSA President Joseph Mutawu, the supporters said the new benchmarks, which include possession of a CAF or UEFA Pro Licence and experience in high-pressure environments, show that ZIFA is serious about professionalising football and reviving the Warriors’ competitive edge.

“The requirements for the national team coach are tough, but that is exactly what is needed to shake things up and get our beloved Warriors flying high again,” Mutawu said. “This truly shows that ZIFA is looking for someone who can bring a winning mentality, tactical prowess and a passion for developing Zimbabwean football talent.”
