ZIMRA Launches New Headquarters in Mt Pleasant

The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority held a ground-breaking ceremony on Wednesday to mark the opening of its new headquarters in Mt Pleasant Business Park.

The event was officiated by the Minister of Finance and Economic Development, Professor Mthuli Ncube, who said the newly built facility will enhance ZIMRA’s capacity to mobilise revenue and support national development.

ZIMRA also received a globally recognised ISO 9001:2015 certification from the International Organisation for Standardisation, making it the fourth revenue authority in Africa to attain this standard.

Speaking at the event, ZIMRA Board Chairperson Anthony Mandiwanza said the national tax authority will further boost its efficiency through an eco-friendly, energy-efficient, and digitally enabled headquarters designed to better serve the country.

ZIMRA Commissioner-General Regina Chinamasa added that the independent assessments leading to the certification have inspired staff to reach new heights in service delivery.

Additionally, ZIMRA signed an integrity pledge with the Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission, reaffirming its commitment to uphold ethical standards, maintain a zero-tolerance approach to corruption, build public trust, and promote a culture of integrity.
