Zimbabwe Cricket and the Pakistan Cricket Board are in discussions over a possible Test series that could take place in Pakistan after the ongoing tri-series.
While negotiations are progressing, the two boards are yet to agree on the structure of the tour, with each favouring a different format.
Cricket enthusiast Adam Theo said Zimbabwe Cricket is pushing for a two-match series, while the PCB is leaning towards a single Test.

An official confirmation is expected from Zimbabwe Cricket if both sides reach an agreement in the coming days.
If finalised, the tour would mark another step in strengthening cricket relations between Zimbabwe and Pakistan. It would also give Zimbabwe’s players valuable experience in subcontinental conditions, while Pakistan continues to solidify its standing as a stable host for international cricket.
The proposed dates, however, come with a complication. The timing overlaps with the Bangladesh Premier League auction scheduled for November 30.
Several Zimbabwean players — including Richard Ngarava, Sean Williams, Ryan Burl, Innocent Kaia, Brian Bennett, Ben Curran, Jonathan Campbell, Faraz Akram and Brad Evans — have entered the auction, creating potential availability challenges depending on how the schedule is finalised.
