
Zimbabwe Gems continued their impressive run at the 2025 Celtic Cup International Test Series with a commanding 49–39 victory over neighbours Namibia, sealing their second win of the tournament and boosting confidence ahead of their final match against Uganda today.
The Gems delivered a spirited performance on court, with standout shooter Upenyu Kelly Muyambo producing a match-winning display to earn the Player of the Match accolade.

The victory marked Zimbabwe’s second triumph of the tournament, having earlier defeated Northern Ireland in their opening fixture. Their only setback so far came against Wales, who handed the Gems their first loss of the series in a closely contested encounter.
With two wins and one loss so far, the Gems now turn their attention to their final test of the series against Uganda.
