Three men from Mabvuku, Harare, who appeared before magistrate Marewanazvo Gofa over unlawful possession of drugs, were remanded in custody.
The three are Munyaradzi Makwara, Innocent Chawira and Jeffrey Jakacha.
On January 8, 2023, information was received that Jakacha was dealing in drugs.
His house was searched and police recovered sachets of Metyledioxymethamphetamine, popularly referred to as crystal meth, with a street value of $90 000.
He was remanded in custody to January 26.
Police, according to court papers, received information around 1200 hours on January 9, 2023 that there was rampant illegal drug dealing at Budiriro 4, in Harare.
About an hour later, detectives proceeded to Budiriro for further investigations and found Makwara dealing in drugs.
They recovered three sachets of crystal meth worth $32 000 after searching his car, leading to his arrest.
Makwara was remanded in custody to January 19.
Chawira was caught with drugs with a street value of $10 000 and was remanded in custody to January 25.
