
Orlando Pirates have strengthened their midfield options with the signing of Zimbabwean midfielder Daniel Msendami, who has joined the Soweto giants from Marumo Gallants.
Msendami made headlines following his exceptional performance against Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations. Pirates confirmed the signing in a statement, underlining their efforts to reinforce the squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The club revealed that agreements were reached with Marumo Gallants for the permanent and immediate transfer of Daniel Msendami and Chabatsane, while praising Gallants’ management for their professionalism during the negotiations.

Following the completion of all required clearances, Msendami and Chabatsane will travel to the North West Province, where the Pirates squad is currently in camp as preparations continue for the new Betway Premiership campaign.
