At the heart of the team is head coach Paradzai Samkelido Ncube, a rising young mentor from Harare, Zimbabwe, who believes his squad is fully prepared for the challenges ahead.
With seven matches scheduled in just two weeks, the fixture list presents a demanding early test of endurance, depth, and mental strength. Yet, Ncube remains confident that his players affectionately known as the “young Pep’s boys” for their energetic and tactical style are ready to rise to the occasion.
“We understand the challenge of playing seven games in two weeks,” Ncube said ahead of the season opener. “But the boys have worked extremely hard during preseason. They are fit, focused, and mentally prepared. This is exactly what we have been training for.”
