Sagitarian Private Limited, trading as ABC Auctions, was the target of a brazen armed robbery at its premises along Seke Road in Hatfield, Harare, in the early hours of October 8, 2022.
Bibience Bondamakara, a male adult residing at number 6499 Solomio in Ruwa, appeared before magistrate Learnmore Mapiye at the Harare Magistrates’ Court facing armed robbery charges.
He is expected to return to court on March 27.
The incident occurred at around 1:00am when Bondamakara and his accomplices allegedly scaled a precast wall and overpowered security guards Langton Ziromba and Editor Meda.

The robbers, armed with pistols, tied up the guards and took their cellphones, bloodhounds and a panic button.
They then forced entry into the offices and broke into six safes using grinders and explosives.
Cash amounting to US$1,014,000 was stolen, along with an assortment of luxury items including watches, jewellery and gold coins.
Among the stolen items were a Tissot Sea Star watch, a one-ounce fine gold coin, a G-Shock MT-G men’s watch and several high-end Rolex and Cartier watches, among other valuables.
Investigations are ongoing, and police are working to recover the stolen property and apprehend the remaining suspects.
