Zimbabwean Ambassador Calls for Teamwork to Help Migrants Return Home

Ambassador Kudzai Gasho, a leader from Intercontinental Youth Connect, is calling for an urgent meeting between South Africa and Zimbabwe. He wants both countries to work together to help Zimbabwean citizens who do not have legal papers return home safely and by choice.

The Ambassador believes that instead of arguing about migration, the two neighboring countries should sit down and talk. He wants to create a clear plan that treats every person with respect and follows human rights laws.

“This is a moment for cooperation, not confrontation. We must build bridges, not walls, and ensure that migration challenges are addressed with dignity, order, and respect for human rights,” said Ambassador Gasho.

The plan involves bringing together government leaders, community groups, and regional partners. They want to create a fair schedule for people who want to move back to Zimbabwe. This would help South Africa manage its borders better while making sure Zimbabwe is ready to welcome its people back and help them find jobs and homes.

Ambassador Gasho explained that this move is about being good neighbors and keeping the region peaceful. He believes that by organizing migration properly, both countries can protect jobs and keep communities safe. He hopes that if this plan works, it will show other African countries how to solve similar problems by working together as a team.
