The three clubs that endured heartbreak in Zimbabwe’s top-flight league in 2025 are now scripting a remarkable revival story in the lower division, as they dominate the Pacific Storm Eastern Region Soccer League standings after matchday seven.
Yadah, GreenFuel and Bikita Minerals ,all relegated from the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League at the end of last season, they have surged to the summit of the regional table, underlining a dramatic shift in fortunes just months after their fall from grace.
At the top of the standings, Yadah FC lead the pack with 17 points, showing renewed consistency and attacking intent. Close behind are GreenFuel FC on 15 points, while Bikita Minerals FC sit in third place with 14 points, completing a trio of former Premier Soccer League sides now controlling the race for promotion.
Their dominance marks a stark contrast to their struggles in 2025, when all three clubs were locked in a fierce relegation battle that ultimately ended in disappointment. On the final day of that season, Yadah, GreenFuel and Bikita Minerals all failed to secure the results they needed, confirming their drop from the top tier alongside Kwekwe United .
