Philemon Jambaya
Former Platinum Royals Assistant coach, who at one time in her football career served as an assistant referee, Nyarai Chirwa, has died.
Her death was confirmed by FC Platinum in a statement who said:
“The Club President and the Club Executive announce with great sorrow the passing on of (Platinum Royals Assistant Coach).
“Our deepest condolences to the Chirwa family, the Pure Platinum family and the entire sporting fraternity,” reads the statement.
As a football player Chirwa played in the Women Soccer league for Hollenbeck when she shared the dressing room with the likes of the late striker Yesmore Mutero and winger Annie Konje among others.
