Tigere Property Fund Declares US$1m Dividend, Offers Scrip Alternative

 

Tigere Property Fund has declared a US$1,003,210 dividend for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, giving unitholders the option to receive the distribution in cash or through additional units.

The dividend amounts to US$0.05449 per unit.

In a dividend declaration notice dated July 20, Tigere Property Fund said the REIT manager had declared a scrip alternative to the cash dividend “in respect of all outstanding units in issue”.

Under the scrip option, unitholders will receive 5.1684 new units for every 100 existing units held.

The new units will be issued at a scrip reference price of ZiG100 cents per unit, representing a 10.28 percent discount to the 30-day volume-weighted average price as at July 17, 2026.

The dividend will be payable on or about September 8, 2026, to unitholders registered on the fund’s register at the close of business on August 7, 2026. Applicable withholding tax will be deducted from the gross cash dividend.

The units will trade cum dividend on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange up to August 5 and ex-dividend from August 6.

A circular detailing the scrip offering and the proposed use of proceeds is expected to be published on July 31, while election forms will be mailed to unitholders on August 12.

The deadline for submitting completed forms is September 2, 2026.

Unitholders who have not received their election forms by August 19 have been advised to contact the transfer secretaries.
