Unifreight Africa Limited shareholders are awaiting details of the implications of the company's planned migration to the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange (VFEX) after its board approved a delisting from the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange (ZSE), followed immediately by a listing on the US dollar-denominated bourse.
In a cautionary statement dated October 5, 2026, the transport and logistics group said the transaction was subject to the completion of regulatory processes, with further details to be provided once these had been finalised.
“Accordingly, Shareholders are advised to exercise caution and consult their professional advisors when trading in the Company's shares,” the company said.
The planned migration comes amid growing interest in VFEX, where shares are traded and settled in United States dollars, offering an alternative to the currency-related risks associated with Zimbabwe's local currency-denominated market.

Unifreight has not yet disclosed the expected completion date or detailed arrangements for the transition.
The implications for existing shareholders, including how their shareholdings will be treated and how trading will be conducted following the migration, will become clearer when the company releases further information.
The move adds to the evolving structure of Zimbabwe's capital markets as listed companies assess alternative platforms for attracting investors and accessing capital.
