Dynamos fans have thrown their weight behind their new coach Hebert “Jompano” Marowa, Zim Now has learnt.

Marowa, who was appointed to take charge of Dembare is not new to the system and demands of the seven million supporters as he was part of the technical team during the Kalisto Pasuwa stint.

Staunch Dembare fan Tinashe Chakadza said the legion of Dembare fans cannot wait for the season to start.

“We are fully behind our cocah “Jompano,” we all know that he is going to deliver and our message to fellow supporters is “Kakai ngoma” because this is the year of the drum,” Said Chakadza.

His sentiments were also echoed by Farai Kabvure who said that Marowa has assembled a team which is eligible to challenge for any title on offer.

“Our coach has assembled the strongest team so far. It is a fact that he means business. We will scoop everything that is on offer once the new season kicks off,” Kabvure said.

Marowa has a US$60 000 war chest from the principal sponsor, Sakunda Holdings, and this has given him the liberty to bring on board a number of players of his choice.

The head gaffer will be deputized by former Dynamos captain Murape Murape and former YADAH coach Genesis ‘Kaka’ Mangombe while Loyd ‘Mablanyo’ Chingowe will be in charge of scouting and recruiting.
