Police investigate Mahusekwa Mukuru heist

Zimbabwe Republic Police in Mahusekwa are investigating a robbery case which occurred at Mukuru Money Transfer shop, Mahusekwa Business Centre,  on February 17, 2023.

It is reported that an unknown suspect pointed an unidentified firearm at the cashier before stealing US$1 451 and ZAR 1 300 cash.

Police said anyone with information must report at any nearest Police Station.

On another issue, police in Mutoko arrested four suspects in connection with a case of stock theft in which two oxen were stolen at Plot 2, Village 63, Hoyuyu on February 17, 2023 at around 0010 hours.

The suspects identified as Kudzaishe Takudzwa Kaguru, 22, Tinashe Fore, 23,  and Samuel Tarikanda, 27. Brian Komani's getaway vehicle, a Mazda MPV, registration number ACA 6880 , was intercepted  by villagers near Chidowe Business Centre, leading to the suspects’ arrest.

The arrest led to the recovery of the carcasses, three kitchen knives and two meat hooks.

Meanwhile , under operation, “No to dangerous drugs and illicit substances,” police have to date arrested  2 327 people.
