Two boys on Tuesday drowned in a disused pool near a Zimbabwe Revenue Authority Flat in Beitbridge’s Limpopo View suburb.
Their colleague survived after being rescued by good Samaritans who witnessed the accident.
The officer commanding Beitbridge Police District Chief Superintendent Tichaona Nyongo was yet to respond to questions send to him and it was not clear what exactly transpired.
However, bystanders said police attended the tragic scene and bodies of the deceased had been taken to the Beitbridge District Hospital mortuary while the injured was taken to the same medical facility for treatment.
