Harare Darts Association (HDA) Executive has suspended Harare Premier League Games for the two weekends of March 4 and March 11 with HDA secretary general, Kudakwashe Tore, saying league games will resume on March 18.

He said the reason for suspension of games is to select players who shall represent Harare Province at the 2023 National Easter Tournament to be held in Bulawayo from April 7-10.

Meanwhile, HDA is inviting all its registered players to participate in the trials.

"All players who were not part of the 2022 Harare Province Darts team at the National Heroes Tournament held last year August in Bulawayo are invited.

"Final Trials for men: Best 20 players from Preliminary Trials will Clash with last year best 11 players. Out of the 31 players, the best eight will form the Harare Darts Men Team.

“For women: Best six from Preliminary Trials will Clash with last year’s best six and the same applies for the youths teams," said Tore.

The date for preliminary trials has been set for March 4 at Highfield Canteen,  Machipisa Shopping Centre while final trials will take place at the same venue on March 11 .

Participation fee has been pegged at $2 per player.
