Highlanders picked up their first set of maximum points while CAPS United produced a goalless draw to surrender log leaders’ status during Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Match Day 2 round of matches played in different parts of the country yesterday.

CAPS United and home side Ngezi Platinum played to a goalless draw at Baobab Stadium while defending champions FC Platinum took over top spot with a 1-0 victory over visiting Cranborne Bullets at Mandava.
Former champions Chicken Inn produced a 1-0 triumph at home to Tonderai Ndiraya’s Simba Bhora while Greenfuel and Herentals played to a 1-1 draw at Gibbo Stadium.
Match Day 2 of the premiership round of matches continues this Sunday with Dynamos at home to newcomers Sheasham at the National Sports Stadium.
Manica Diamonds are also at home – away from home - to Triangle at Gibbo Stadium.
A Monday clash between ZPC Kariba and Bulawayo Chiefs shall put a lid to Week 2 of the premiership campaign.
