With 1,3 billion to his name, Zimbabwe’s telecom billionaire Strive Masiyiwa is no longer among the 10 richest people in Africa after losing 1,4 billion from his 2.7 billion January net worth on the Forbes real time rankings.

Zimbabwe’s only billionaire, Masiyiywa is now placed 16th in Africa and just one place above list anchor, Othman Benjelloun of Morocco who is worth 1,1 billion.
Nigeria’s Aliko Dangote remains the richest man in Africa but his net worth has fallen to below 13 billion from his 20 billion high in January. The Nigerian mogul has also fallen from the world top 100 richest people
India’s Guatam Adani who became the richest man in India and briefly gained the number three spot has since slipped to number four after France’s Bernard Anault bounced to number 2.
Elon Musk is still the richest man in the world with Jeff Bezos currently on number three.
South Africa’s Patrice Motsepe is continental number 10 and third richest in the country. Motsepe, Masiyiwa, Dangote and his two compatriots are the only blacks on the list of 17 billionaires in Africa.
