Zimbabwe international, Tinotenda Kadewere, on Sunday suffered a heatstroke during a La Liga match between his club, Real Mallorca, and Real Sociedad.
The condition compelled the technical team to pull him out at half time and he was later taken to hospital for medical attention.
Mallorca coach Javier Aguirre explained at a press conference that he had planned to give Kadewere more game time, but had to replace him due to the heat stroke which caused.
The temperatures were just over 20°C during the game in Mallorca, a big difference compared to the cold days recorded over the past week.
