Paradzai Mesi finds a new home as Hood fulfils pledge

Paradzai Mesi, recently in the spotlight for the wrong reasons, has been given a new home by businessman Mudiwa Hood who had earlier promised to help look into his welfare.

Mesi was caught on the wrong side of the law when he was found inside a farm store in Gleandale and the assumption then was that he intended to steal grocery items from it.

However, there was a lot of empathy for him with many taking to social media to call for help on his behalf.

Mudiwa Hood, who is also a musician, was one of the people who came to Mesi’s rescue by clothing him and buying grocery items. He went a step further to promise Mesi decent accommodation and has since done that.

Mudiwa Hood has relocated sungura musician, Paradzai Mesi from his rural home to a new home in Harare where he has paid rentals for the whole year. This comes after pictures of Paradzai Mesi’s dilapidated rural home were shared on social media. In a post seen by Pindula News, Mudiwa Hood said he had kept his promise to Zimbabwe and secured Papa Paradzai Mesi a new home. Wrote Hood on his Face Book page Friday night:

“Dear Zimbabwe, as I promised, I have delivered!

I feel proud to put a smile on my big brother Mesi, ndiMudhara wedu… Zimbabwe thank you for helping this man, from the deepest part of my heart thank you for loving him again.

“This is Papa Paradzai Mesi new home🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

“At least for the next 12 months, 1 year rent paid! I am not at liberty to share exact location but it is in Harare.

“It will help him with his shows as most of the shows are in Harare. 4 Bedroom, dining, kitchen, tiled house, fully electrified and has a garden nekamunda as well as fowl run.

“I chose big a yard to help him be, not so crowded place, mainly for privacy ….iceleb redu iri. The closest school there is 200 metres from the house, will transfer the kids and pay the fees.

“I will ask permission from our Legend Para, on the money donated, so that it can be directed, if enough to get house hold property.

“Literally its a new start to everything, so if anyone feels deep in his heart to help, the help is welcome - beds, kitchen furniture, tables, TVs, spoons anything, If you pledge please fulfil your pledge, let us not say things for likes here…

Let us show this man that the GOD he sang, has remembered him fully!!
