Melody Chikarango, 25, Unit O, Seke, Chitungwiza and Trish Lizzie Choga, 25, of Mahatshula North, Bulawayo apeared before the Harare Magistrates' Courts accused of possessing dangerous drugs.
The State alleges that, on June 21, 2023 at around 2300 hours, the police was informed the two were coming from South Africa with the intention of dealing in dangerous drugs and were travelling by bus.
On the same day at around 2300 hours, the police went to High Glen Road Port Harare and waylaid the accused persons.
At around 2315 hours, Chikarango and Choga arrived at High Glen Road Port and disembarked from the bus and boarded an unmarked silver Toyota Wish and went to Mashwede Service Station where they parked the car.
