Preparartions are at an advanced stage for the Beitbridge-based Christian Embassy Apostolic Church annual revival conference slated for August 31 to September 2 at Dilibadzimo Stadium in the southern border town.
Founder and leader of the church, Pastor Trymore Kufakunesu confirmed the plans saying that they are happy to be back ministring and worshipping together as a church.
“We are happy to be congregating yet again. We have always had this annual revival conference but we had been forced to suspend it at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic in line with obtaining guidelines.
“This time around, we will be celebrating our fourth anniversary as a ministry. It will be an exciting event where we will have South Africa-based gospel singer Takesure Zamar, Prophet Onward Gibson and Beitbridge-based Mc, The Edutainer. It is a revival conference that every believer will forever remember,” Pastor Kufakunesu told Zim Now in an interview.
Pastor Kufakunesu added that healing and deliverance will part of the conference as well as a one-on-one session with him and Prophet Gibson on Friday.
The cleric said that at all their conferences, they will be ministering and expanding the body of Christ.
Besides ministering, Pastor Kufakunesu is also a published author and into clearing and handling imports and exports.
He was born on September 9, 1988 at Musekiwa Village in Hwedza as the fifth child in a family of seven.
He did his primary education at Steven’s Makurumure Primary School before proceeding to Wedza High School for his secondary education from 2003 up to 2006.
It was during his time at secondary school that he became a Christian.
He later moved to Beitbridge in 2009 and joined the Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe Church, but subsequently established his own ministry — The Christian Embassy Apostolic Church — which opened its doors for worship in August 2019.
