The Cinema Society of Zimbabwe has partnered with the Livestreaming Company for the upcoming Zimbabwe Annual Film and Television Awards scheduled for December 2 in Harare.
The collaboration between the Cinema Society of Zimbabwe and the Livestreaming Company indicates a significant milestone in their shared mission to promote and celebrate Zimbabwean cinema on a global scale.
CSZ spokesperson, Caroline Makoni said by leveraging the expertise of the Livestreaming Company, the ZAFTAs will now have the ability to transcend physical boundaries and captivate audiences worldwide, allowing them to experience the exceptional talent and creativity of the local film and television industry first-hand.
“This collaboration marks a significant step forward in our mission to promote and celebrate Zimbabwean cinema on a global scale.
“By leveraging the expertise of the Livestreaming Company, we are excited to bring the magic of the ZAFTAs to audiences worldwide, allowing them to experience the fruits of our local film and television industry first-hand. This partnership represents a new chapter for the Cinema Society of Zimbabwe and ensures that the ZAFTAs become a truly unforgettable event for all,” she said.
Takudza Hombasha of The Livestreaming Company said they are dedicated to creating a positive impact on the industry and the wider community.

The awards will be held under the theme of “Leveraging Business Synergies for Global Impact”.
The awards seek to recognise outstanding achievements in various categories such as Outstanding Feature Film, Outstanding Television Show, Outstanding Director, Outstanding Screenplay, and Outstanding Actor/Actress, among others.
