A sex-starved man from Plumtree broke into his estranged lover’s room, and tried to steal blankets before dozing off in the room.
This emerged at the Plumtree Magistrates’ Courts when magistrate Joshua Nembaware sentenced Zibusiso Nkomo to two years in prison.
Nembaware conditionally suspended six months of the sentence.
Prosecutor Selestine Madziwa told the court that on October 11 Nkomo went to Tubelihle Dube’s room in the afternoon and demanded for sex but was denied.
Nkomo returned around 3am the following morning and broke the door but his ex-lover was not in the room.
He then packed blankets into a bag but fell asleep since he was drunk.
He was busted by Dube but managed to escape and goods worth ZAR6 000 were recovered.
