Mwonzora denies being locked out of MRT House

MDC-T president, Douglas Mwonzora denies rumours which are circulating on social media that that he was locked out of Morgan Richard Tsvangirai House.

In an interview with Zim Now, MDC-T leader Douglas Mwanzora said this was completely fake news people are just trying to tarnish his name.

“This is completely false, we are there at our headquarters. This was a false story generated by some people who were kicked out of the leadership of the MDC.

“It is being sponsored by people like Senator Mudzuri, Senator Komichi, and Mr Gandi Mudzingwa. It is just meant to embarrass us but there is no truth in that.

“This is the work of people we politically defeated within the party, they are writing other false stories about me every day but there is no truth in what they have written. We are there at Harvest House, we are there in full control of the party.”

Mwonzora is being accused of failing to pay electricity bills and tampering with electricity meters at the party’s MRT House headquarters.
