Zimbabwe has dropped four players from its T20 squad for the upcoming series against Ireland, following a disappointing World Cup qualifying campaign.
Experienced players Tendai Chatara, Wellington Masakadza, Innocent Kaia, and Nick Welch have been omitted from the team.
Uncapped players Brian Bennett and Trevor Gwandu have been called up, while Brandon Mavuta and Tony Munyonga have been recalled.
Craig Ervine, who missed the World Cup qualifier due to injury, is back in the squad.
Sikandar Raza will captain the side, which also includes regulars Sean Williams, Richard Ngarava, Blessing Muzarabani, and Ryan Burl.
The three T20Is between Zimbabwe and Ireland will be played on December 7th, 9th, and 10th at Harare Sports Club.
The two teams will also play a three-match ODI series from December 13th to 17th at the same venue.
