Zesa Holdings subsidiary, the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company has launched a blitz to disconnect customers whose electricity bills are not paid up, starting today.
The blitz, ZETDC said in a staetement, will cover the whole of Harare and Chitungwiza.
“The exercise will cover the whole of Harare and Chitungwiza and will be carried out during the week as well as weekends,” ZETDC said in a statement.
The Zesa subsidiary advised its customers to settle their accounts in full because only fully paid-up accounts will be reconnected, adding that payment plans are not being entertained.
