SA’s ICJ legal team gets hero’s welcome at OR Tambo

he South African legal team that represented the country in its case against Israel for genocide in Gaza at the International Court of Justice has returned to a hero’s welcome at OR Tambo International Airport on Sunday, 14 January.

South Africa’s team arrive at OR Tambo Airport

The SABC reports that some of South Africa’s legal team member landed at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg on Sunday and thanked South Africans for its support in its case against Israel at ICJ.

The publication adds that South Africa dragged Israel to the World Court and accused it of committing genocide in Gaza, while Israel rejected the accusations.

South Africans took to social media to congratulate the legal team as the world waits for the outcome of the ICJ.
