The International Court of Justice will deliver its order on the indications of provisional measures made by South Africa against Israel’s alleged violations
The order from The Hague follows public hearings on South Africa’s request, which presented oral arguments from both South Africa and Israel.
In its application and argument, South Africa requested for the Court to indicate provisional measures in order to protect and prevent further imparable harm to the rights of the Palestinian people under the Genocide Convention.
In a statement, the ICJ said that the court will deliver its order on the request of South Africa at a public sitting at the Peace Palace in The Hague, where the President of the Court will read the order.
