The government has notified beneficiaries of the presidential title deeds scheme to provide necessary documents to the Ministry of National Housing and Amenities for processing.

This follows an announcement in 2023 by the ministry that would see residents and homeowners acquire tittle deeds for houses that they had paid taxes for in the past years in specified areas of the Harare Metropolitan Province.

In an advert seen by Zim Now, the Ministry of National Housing and Social Amenities notified beneficiaries of the housing scheme to bring necessary document to commence their tittle deeds process.

“Beneficiaries should bring the documents listed below on or before 29 February 2024 to the Ministry of National Housing and Social Amenities Head Office Estates Department,” the Ministry said in the advert.

The ministry also named the beneficiary areas in the province, which include Ruwa Houses, Odzi Flats Phase 1, Zengeza 4 Houses, Chitungwiza, Zambezi Flats, Willowale Flats, Mufakose Flats, Mufakose Houses, Baines Ave, Tynwald Lot 4 Houses, Glen Norah Flats and Seke Flats.

The ministry also notified beneficiaries to bring the necessary documents required.

“Original copy of the offer letter and original copy of the agreement of sale. Original and certified copy of National 0identity card of the purchaser. Cession document (if applicable). Proof of payment of the purchase price and related cost,” the Ministry added.
