The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority has announced fuel new prices, valid until March 4, that have seen a significant rise in the price of petrol.
The price of petrol increased from US$1.57 to US$1.64 per litre, while diesel went up to US$1.67 from US$1.66.
In a statement, Zera also advised members of the public and operators that the blending ratio is at E5.
“The public and operators are advised that the blending ratio as at E5. Operators may sell the petroleum products below the prescribed price, depending of their trading advantages and should display prices in a prominent place as provided for by the fuel regulations,” the Zera statement reads in part.
The energy regulatory authority also said that the fuel price reviews can be verified on the official Zera website, Facebook or X handle.
