The delegation in Zimbabwe on behalf of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to the Zanu-Pf Congress says the two countries have a common task to upgrade and strengthen bilateral relations.
Member of the Revoultionary Council of FATAH Movement, Honourable Advisor Mr Mahmond Wawi also said his country is also interested in strengthening the relations between the two states.
“When we return, we will establish common communication between the Zimbabwe youth league, the FATAH movement and the PLO to exchange values and principles,” he said.
Head of the Palestine Liberation Organisation, Honourable Minister Mr Ibrahim Aouelnaga said his country sympathises with Zimbabwe against illegal sanctions imposed on the country.
“We appreciate your solidarity for our people, you have our full support and I am certain that you can achieve victory against sanctions,” he said.
Palestinian people have held an anti-sanctions display in their country in solidarity with Zimbabwe.
Palestine has been at the centre of conflict for decades with western support for Israeli aggression exacerbating suffering of the Palestinians.
