The Invictus Board recently meat with the Minister of Energy to discuss developments at Mukuyu.
“The $IVZ Board recently met with Zimbabwe’s Minister of Energy, Hon. Edgar Moyo, to discuss the successful Mukuyu discovery in the Cabora Bassa Basin and advancing the Production Sharing Agreement,” announced Invictus on X.
In December last year, the Australian registered entity announced that it had updated its Gas Supply MOU with Mbuyu Energy for the supply of gas to their proposed 500 MW Gas to Power project.

Invictus owns 80% of the entity exploring the Mukuyu Project on the Cabora Basin, with government also having shares.
Invictus announced on February 21 that a report by Wood Mackenzie highlighted the significance of Mukuyu-2 discovery, recognised as the second largest discovery well for 2023 in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Invctus is awaiting results from gas samples retrieved from the successful M-2 / ST1 campaign and sent to US for lab analysis in February.
Invictus expressed gratitude to the Zimbabwe Government for their ongoing support.
