Runaway murder suspect Peter Dube is now in police custody after his extradition from Mozambique.

Dube was arrested for using fake national identity and passport documents.

Dube went on the run in 2021 after allegedly gunning down his second wife Nyasha Nharingo, her suspected lover Shelton Chinhango and her wife's best friend Gamuchirai Mudungwe in Gweru on April 23.

He also shot his wife’s sister Nyaradzo, who died upon admission.

Dube fled to South Africa and later relocated to Eswatini where he lived under a different identity before he went to Ireland.

While in Ireland, Dube claimed to be a Mozambican leading to his deportation from the country to Mozambique leading to his arrest.

Dube was received at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport by a team of the Zimbabwe Republic Police.
