Six unknown suspects who were armed with a pistol got away with US$56 377 and ZAR71 000 cash after pouncing on a company along Seke Road, Hatfield on Sunday.
The suspects attacked the security guard before gaining entry into the offices where they disabled all security systems and ransacked the offices, stealing US$56 377 and ZAR 71 000 cash, a laptop and a Samsung tablet.
In a similar case, unknown suspects stole US$10 507 at a wholesale shop at Tilco Industry, Chitungwiza.
The suspects attacked two security guards who were on duty at the shop before stealing the cash, which was in a safe.
The suspects blasted the safe using dynamites.
