A Harare woman poured hot water on her husband accusing him of delaying to take their child to hospital.
Esther Mubaiwa, of Hopely Zone 6, appeared at the Harare Magistrates’ Courts charged with attempted murder.
She was ordered to appear in court on June 26.
The complainant in this matter is Moses Mutaviri.
The State alleges that on May 5, at around 1900 hours, Mubaiwa told Mutaviri that their son was not feeling well.
Mutaviri told Mubaiwa that they would take the child to the hospital the following morning since it was already late and he went to bed.
The State alleges that this response offended Mubaiwa who took a pot of hot water and poured it on Mutaviri’s neck, chest and back.
