Zimbabwean opposition politician and former Harare Central Member of Parliament, Murisi Zwizwai, has died.
The cause of death has not yet been announced, but sources allege that Murwisi has not been feeling well for a while.
Former Citizens Coalition for Change leader, Nelson Chamisa confirmed the sad news on his X handle: “Have learnt with deep sadness on the passing of Hon Murisi Zwizwai in the early hours of this morning. We worked together from the early days of the struggle for change and freedom in Zimbabwe. He was affable, jocular, generous and jovial. My prayers are with the family and friends. RIP Murambwi,” wrote Chamisa.
His death comes barely a week after shadowy opposition Citizens Coalition for Change secretary-general, Sengezo Tshabangu, had nominated Zwizwai for the Senate position.
