4 Zim referees to officiate in Libya WC qualifier

Four Zimbabwean referees are in the Mediterranean port city of Benghazi, Libya on international duty in the 2026 World Cup Qualifier between the north African hosts and Indian Ocean islanders, Mauritius.

In a match that is scheduled for the Martyrs of February Stadium today in the evening Brighton Chimene will be centre referee and will be assisted by Edgar Rumeck and Luckson Mhara.

Thabani Ruzario, whose stock has been rising steadily since he hung his playing boots, will be the fourth official in the World Cup encounter, in which the Mediterranean Knights will be seeking a win against the Dodos of Mauritius.
