Former information Deputy Minister Bright Matonga has been arrested.
A source told Zim Now that Matonga is facing allegations of theft over agricultural items pegged at US$424 888.
The items are from governement input and mechanisation schemes dating back to the Mugabe era.
According to sources, Matonga is currently detained at Seruwe Police Station, Chegutu, and is expected to appear in court at Chegutu Magistrates Court.
