Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Zhou Ding, this Tuesday, paid a visit to the Mayor of Harare, Cllr Jacob Mafume to discuss various areas of cooperation.
"We exchanged views on intensifying cooperation across various domains, including green energy, cultural exchange, and tourism,” announced Ambassador Zhou Ding on the embassy X handle.
He said the aim of this interaction is to enhance mutual understanding and strengthen ties between the two nations.
"Thank you Ambassador, for the visit .We have a lot to learn from China and its development!” said Mafume on his X handle.
China has efficiently run cities accommodating millions while Harare is struggling to serve its population and recently approached government to take over its waste management role.
The city also currently has a government appointed commission to try and turn it around into an operational administration.
