Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has asked First Lady Auxillia Mnangagwa to convey to President Emmerson Mnangagwa the assurance of Minsk’s commitment her to deliver on all agreements between the two countries.
“Please convey to (President of Zimbabwe) Emmerson Mnangagwa, my old friend, our best wishes and tell him about our determination to implement our agreements,” Lukashenko said to the First Lady in Minsk today.
Mnangagwa is in Belarus with a delegation of women from various business sectors, where the delegation seeks to engage and unlock business corporations and partnerships.
She thanked Lukashenko for the invitation for this trip as well as the friendship he has shown Zimbabwe.
“We are happy to be here and we appreciate the warm welcome we have received in Belarus. Our country is also under sanctions, which makes your support particularly valuable,” she said.
The trip was facilitated by the Government and Belarusian Women in Business.
