The Castle Lager Braai Fest is returning to Harare on October 19, 2024, with a day-long celebration of the country’s beloved grilling culture, hosted by Delta Beverages, the event will take place at the Old Hararians Sports Club, running from 10:00 a.m.
This year’s festival is set to attract thousands, with a strong line-up of entertainment that includes local music heavyweights Winky D, Master H, and Saint Floew, alongside South African sensation Kamo Mpela. The festival will also feature performances by DJs Etherton B, DJ L Roy, DJ Irvine, and DJ Toxy Gen.
Tickets for the event includes a complimentary braai pack and a Castle Lager beer, while Delta Beverages has announced that beer will be sold at reduced prices, with a 1-liter Castle Lager Draught selling for US$1.
Beyond the entertainment and food, festival-goers will enjoy various games and activities designed to celebrate Zimbabwe's unique braai culture, with attendees given access to a range of fresh meat for grilling provided by local partners.
Delta Beverages, the country’s leading beer producer, says the Braai Fest is an opportunity to bring Zimbabweans together in a relaxed and fun environment. The event also has a regional touch, with artists from South Africa adding to the cultural exchange.
