Dynamos FC's troubles have escalated as former club captain Murape Murape has publicly criticized the current executive's incompetence following their recent trip to Botswana.

Murape, speaking to journalist Yvonne Manguda, expressed his dismay at the team's accommodation during their preparations for the second leg against Orapa United. He likened their lodgings to the low-quality "Mugoni lodges," a stark contrast to the expectations of a club of Dynamos' stature.

The former captain's comments come on the heels of an ongoing player strike that threatens to derail Dynamos' Chibuku Super Cup ambitions. Players are demanding the payment of outstanding bonuses and have refused to train until their demands are met.

Club chairperson Moses Maunganidze has defended the club's decision to delay bonus payments until the end of the season, but players remain unconvinced. The impasse has put Dynamos' semi-final match against Manica Diamonds in jeopardy.
