Three men arrested with cocaine worth ZWL$5.8m at Avondale lodge

 

Police have arrested three men for possession of cocaine at a Harare lodge.

Honest Shumba, 33, Allen Shumba, 37, and Stanley Eze, 45, were arrested a lodge along David Morgan Crescent in Avondale.

Stanley Eze is a foreign national.

“The suspects were found in possession of 105 grammes of cocaine with a street value of ZWL$5 880 000,” said the police in a statement.

That translates to about US$9000 worth of cocaine.

The police acknowledged the role of the public in stopping crime saying:

“The Zimbabwe Republic Police applauds the public for supplying useful information to the police.”
