Delta Beverages Private Limited, a leading Zimbabwean manufacturer of lagers, is investigating an alleged security breach at its Southerton brewery.
Unidentified individuals reportedly attempted to gain illegal access to the facility through a pre-existing stormwater drainage tunnel.
The incident was discovered on February 17, 2025, by Delta Beverages employees. However, the company confirmed that its operations remained unaffected. Delta is working closely with law enforcement and other relevant authorities to verify the details of the breach and identify those involved.
In a statement, Delta Beverages reaffirmed its commitment to the safety and security of its employees, facilities, and assets.
The company is fully cooperating with authorities and has activated its standard incident management and review protocols to ensure a thorough response.
Delta Beverages has urged anyone with information regarding the incident to report it to the police or the company directly.
