The 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season is set to kick off on Friday, February 28, promising an exciting start to another thrilling year of Zimbabwean football.
The season opener will see newly promoted Scotland FC take on Triangle United FC at Rufaro Stadium, with the match scheduled to start at 3:00 PM. Triangle United will be looking to assert their experience, while Scotland FC will be eager to prove their worth in the top flight.
Saturday, March 1, will feature six matches across different venues. Herentals College FC will face TelOne FC at Rufaro Stadium, while Simba Bhora FC takes on FC Platinum at Wadzanayi Stadium. FC Platinum, a consistent title contender, will aim for a strong start to the campaign.
At Sakubva Stadium, Manica Diamonds FC will go head-to-head with Yadah FC, while Chicken Inn FC battles Bikita Minerals FC at Luveve Stadium. Ngezi Platinum Stars FC will host Kwekwe United FC at Baobab Stadium, and GreenFuel FC will clash with CAPS United FC at GreenFuel Arena. All matches are set to kick off at 3:00 PM.
The first matchday concludes on Sunday, March 2, with two highly anticipated fixtures. Dynamos FC, one of the league’s giants, will take on ZPC Kariba FC at Rufaro Stadium, while Hwange FC hosts Highlanders FC at Baobab Stadium.
