In yet another case of armed robbery, three unidentified suspects pounced on a Seke, Chitungwiza, college where they attacked a security guard before getting away with cash and fuel coupons.

In a memo, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) said on November 29 around 0100 hours, the robbers, who were armed with three pistols, manhandled the guard manning the premises and gained entry by breaking into the administration block using a pick.
“The suspects used a pick to break into the administration block, where they blasted a safe and stole US$3 094 fuel coupons, US$8 076, and ZWL$43 100 cash,” reads the police memo in part.
